Shake it out of the bag.
Stir with a smile.
Keep stirring and begin twisting hair.
Crack the egg and look for a baby chic
Get a spoon full of mix and start dripping
This is interesting.
Is this ever gonna stop?
It’s just like painting!
A good cook always tastes.
After the boring baking, it’s time to decorate.
Note: Lips are turning blue.
Just a little bit more.
No, I didn’t do it.
For my new baby brother.
Ready for the party!
Worked up a thirst.
This one’s mine.
It’s a boy! I’m a big sister now!
Brock and Amanda got engaged on Tybee Island, Georgia. Brock played his cards right by setting up a picnic bordered with candles and singing/playing his guitar with a song he wrote just for Amanda. The song ended with one knee down and a big YES from Amanda.

This love-story began in 2014 when one of Katie’s close friends introduced her and Kirk while attending a birthday party in Vernon, Connecticut. With Katie living in New Jersey and Kirk living in Connecticut, they would meet half way for dating. In that same year, Katie moved to Georgia for work related reasons. Yes, Kirk couldn’t stand being away from Katie so a few months later he followed. They were both hit by the love bug. They were engaged in 2016 and married just a couple of weeks ago at The Tybee Wedding Chapel on Tybee Island, Georgia.

I’m showing you an easy way to transition from Fall to Thanksgiving for your table.I love displaying my grandmother’s old aqua dishes, especially for the holidays. It gives me a sense of my heritage and family. I combined rusty orange, navy, aqua, green and tan to bring Fall into a complete circle This is an easy transition from fall to Thanksgiving.Because I’m only using as decoration, I chose to fold a set of placemats to mock a napkin instead of purchasing real napkins.I love using white in my home but I don’t limit my self to the same shade of white when grouping accessories. This is my way of decorating for Thanksgiving without adding the color orange everywhere (This may seem weird but I don’t decorate my home with colors I don’t look good in.) I live on the coast, so I added a white star fish in the mix. I follow no rules in decorating. Layering is a way to bring textures and dimension to your table setting. Happy Thanksgiving and bless God today!
This premier wedding venue overflowed with southern charm for this Illinois couple. Of course, Stacey and Tasha brought their own charm to The Mackey House along with friends and family from all over the United States. Not only was the venue a premier venue, the vendors chosen by the bride were also premier vendors. The list includes Jerina Mac Photography (Savannah), Southern Graces (caterer, florist and detail decor from Beaufort, SC), Rev. Joe Wadas (Savannah), DJ Joe Kollege (Chicago, Ill.), and planners Jackie Weems & Genise Walker.
The Couple. Stacey & Tasha met in September of 2001. Tasha had been out with her friends, celebrating her birthday. At the end of the night, hugs and goodbyes were said to her friends and there stood “Mr. Right”. Yes, I’m talking about Stacey; who at that time was a stranger asking, “Where’s my hug?”. Now who in their right mind would turn down a request from such a handsome. Well, of course, Tasha being the friendly person that she is, gave Stacey a hug that would make him think he had been a friend forever.
Although their courtship was brief, they maintained their friendship over the years. In August 2010, they rekindled their relationship and on September 6, 2015 they became engaged.
As soon as Taylor and Joey arrive at The Mackey House, you can see and feel the excitement through those two and their wedding party. The guys have this awesome “mancave” and the girls have a “princess-like” suite to relax in and begin to transform themselves into the picture perfect wedding party Taylor has always dreamed of having on her wedding day. As the caterers, florist, DJ, and wedding planners are doing their part, I, as the wedding day photographer, am on the move capturing every special moment taking place.
Taylor and Joey brought their “A” game on hiring the following vendors for their spectacular wedding day celebration:

This athletic couple met through mutual friends and started to realize sports was just one of many things they had in common. Joey was playing baseball at Armstrong University and Taylor had just transferred to Armstrong to play soccer. What better place for Joey to propose to Taylor than the first place they met…the baseball field.
The Historic River Street in Savannah, Georgia reins as the perfect backdrop for Savannah weddings at The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa. The elegant hotel provides spectacular grounds for any destination wedding. It’s spacious outdoors accommodates any size guest list and is a dreamy location overlooking the first city of Georgia. I’m sure these reasons are why Lindsey and Chad chose their wedding to take place at The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa.
Lindsey and Chad first met on New Years Day 2015 and three weeks later they had their first date. They both love to travel every chance they get but it was home where Chad chose to pop the question.
I was honored to be chosen Chad & Lindsey’s wedding photographer (Jerina Mac Photography) and find myself rubbing shoulders among some of the top Savannah Wedding Vendors. All About You Entertainment, Kato Floral Designs, and Savannah Rum Runners Bakery to name a few.
Enjoy the moments I captured of Chad and Lindsey’s Wedding.
How They Met.
Travis and Sydney first met after a UVA college football game at a popular hangout, along with some of friends. After Sydney’s friends deserted her for other interests, she was left in a very crowded place bumping into the same two guys, over and over again. Being the “chatter box” she is (Sydney called herself that), she decided to strike up a conversation with these two guys. Turns out, one of them became the love of her life. She and Travis talked & talked & talked until the hangout closed. Ending the night with a trip to the ice cream store and a sweet walk home, Travis was so mesmerized by Sydney, he almost forgot to ask for her number.
Travis came up with an excuse for he and Sydney to walk to the “Lawn”. It made perfectly good sense being that he worked at UVA and lived nearby. He made up a story that he had to look at something at the rotunda so the couple walked up to the steps and no later than us turning the corner he proceeded to get down on one knee. In his froggy little voice he said the sweetest proposal (I love the one knee proposals). One of their friends had been hiding, taking photos; even shot a quick photo session afterwards of the newly engaged couple. They ended the perfect night going back to the same hangout where they first met to celebrate their engagement.
When a soldier meets the woman of his dreams, he prays that she sees the big picture like he does. He loves his country and serves it well. Chrissy fell in love with Neil. Not just because he has a kind heart; not just because he is handsome. She sees way beyond all of those reasons. He loves the Lord; he is a protector; he is a family man. I am honored to have been chosen to photograph their wedding this past weekend.
Andy and Saadia have known each another for 13 years. It’s safe to say that they know each other pretty well. But when you’re around them, you’d think that they just fell in love with all the giggles and flirtation (sweet!) When this Charlotte, NC couple asked me to be their photographer for their wedding, I was so excited. You see, photographer’s have this “insight” of how the photo sessions will pan out. Andy and Saadia did not let me down. Not only did they rock their engagement session, they were off the chain on their wedding day. See for yourself…
LOVE between Marvis and Brittany began in Alabama. After a few dinners together and running into one another at the gym, they built their relationship quickly. After moving to Chicago, Illinois they wanted to never be apart again. One of their LOVES is traveling; it was on one of their trips that Marvis asked Brittany to be his wife.

Guest Bedroom Ideas
When I’m not shooting a wedding or families, I’m decorating my home. I can’t afford to hire a professional so the only way I can get what I want is to do it myself. First and foremost, for this to be successful, you have to have a true passion for it. Hopefully, this guestroom will be an inspiration to you or at least an encouragement to get started.
Just to let you know, I always start shopping at the least expensive store and then work my way up. I find all of my decorations at the following places: Ross, HomeGoods, Kirkland’s, Target, Hobby Lobby, TJmaxx, Marshall’s and Steinmart.I looked everywhere for bedding and couldn’t find anything that I fell in love with so I ordered this particular one from Soft Surroundings online. The bedskirt was one I already had (Steinmart)I love using the “unexpected” on my walls. I screwed in a small picture hanger on the back and randomly placed them on the floor first. Once I got it the way I liked it, I hung it! LOVE TEXTURESMost of the walls in my home are “white-white” (flat) so that I can add a pop of color and change my decor. This is much easier than repainting every time I change my color scheme. It’s very rare that I like the knobs that come with my furniture so I make a trip to Hobby Lobby on the week they have their knobs for 50% off and save a ton. It really personalizes the furniture with the decor.
Over the past 13 years, I bet I’ve painted this armoire 6 different colors. I store a small tv with movies for the grandchildren to watch their favorite movies when they visit us. Every green plant you’ll see me use is artificial; as long as it looks real. (I am the worst at keeping real plants alive) I use lanterns for everything but candles. Here, I’ve got my collection of seashells displayed.Again, artificial greenery and more seashells displayed on a cake platter. Underneath, I used two very old books that belonged to our family decades ago. This bedroom is so big I had enough room to add a small sofa for my guests to relax on or just sit their “stuff” on during their visit. (This use to be in my photography studio but I didn’t want to get rid of it.) Before getting rid of something, see if it can be used in another room for a different function and don’t be afraid to change the paint colors. These end tables and the legs on this sofa use to be silver. Now that I’m using a touch of brass in my house, I spray painted the tables and hand painted the legs.
